I2X Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineering Lead to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO or Huntsville, AL. This position will be *on-site* and will require an active Secret clearance. 

• First in line of leadership for all Core System Engineering (SE) team members and reports to the Regional SE Engineering Manager
• Responsible for maintaining accurate metrics of team progress
• Supports all team staffing responsibilities, including interviewing new candidates, dealing with team performance issues, and supporting team member growth and development
• Expected to be technically competent in all of the work performed by the team such that they can acts a reviewer of product to ensure quality
• Responsible for defining and ensuring compliance with Core SE team processes

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education with 7 years of experience.
• Active Secret clearance
• Strong System Engineering and Proven Leadership Experience required.
• Experience performing system engineering for large complex systems to include:
  • requirements analysis and decomposition
  • Interface definition
  • root cause analysis
  • application design
  • integration
  • test
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must
• Experience working proposals, team building, developing and maintaining metrics, facilitating and providing training, and shaping a culture required
  
• Experience managing System Engineers providing mentorship in the discipline a must
  
• Being capable of working on site and with teammates from multiple companies and in geographically diverse locations is required
  
• Familiarity with agile principles and the ability to work with different teams within an organization also a must
  
• Experience developing prototypes and performing experiments strongly desired
  
• Modeling and simulation experience desired
