I2X Technologies is seeking a Junior Cyber Security Engineer / SCRUM Master to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will be *on-site* and will require an active Secret clearance. 

• Facilitate Agile Scrum framework, by working closely with the Product Owner, coaching the Cyber Patching agile team and other stakeholders, and removing impediments to ensure the team can achieve its goals.
• Collaborate with Cyber Engineering - Work closely with Cyber stakeholders to integrate and test cybersecurity solutions on the system.
• Develop and test patches to mitigate vulnerabilities in Software, Hardware, and Firmware.
• Manage vulnerabilities through analysis and remediation of IAVMs, Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs), CVEs, Vendor Patches, and STIG configurations.
• Document and verify all installation and configuration steps for laboratory environments.
• Collaborate with software developers and vendors to diagnose and resolve integration issues.
• Provide redlines and feedback to engineers and Cyber Leadership.
• Document lessons learned, best security engineering practices, and industry standards as part of daily tasks.

• Master's degree with 0 years of experience, Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience of related cyber professional experience.
• DoD 8570 certification IAT - Level II (e.g., Sec+ or higher)
• Active Secret Clerance
• Administrative experience with Window and/or Linux systems
• Experience and knowledge of Patch Management systems.
• Experience and knowledge of Agile Methodologies.
• Understanding of DoD best practices for confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA) of systems is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with STIGs, NIST standards, and security controls.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification
• Understanding of software development life cycles and testing processes.
