I2X Technologies is seeking a System Test Engineer to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret Clearance. 

 

  • The System Test Engineer is responsible for the planning of all assigned test events, with emphasis on developing and implementing the test artifacts required for each event:
    • Test objectives
    • Architectures
    • Data Item Descriptions
    • Defense Designs
    • Sensor Resource Management (SRM) settings
    • Operational Tasking Data Link (OPTASKLINK), Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI) configuration and Forwarding Tables, CDS, TDACS, TRAUT TDACS, Comms Connectivity Matrices, Event Configuration Baseline (ECB)
    • System Adjustable Parameters (SAPs)/Site-Specific Parameters (SSPs)
    • BDR and PR applicability
    • Certification Data Packages
  • The position also provides the following support:

     

    • Support planning phase reviews and meetings

    • Support customer boards and meetings

    • Support Data Management

    • Interface with developers

    • Support government personnel during event execution phases when requested

    • Support anomaly resolution and troubleshooting

    • Support analysis group

    • Support Failure Review Boards (FRBs)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering or related field from an accredited college, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of professional experience
  • Technical knowledge of Missile Defense Systems including sensors, shooters, command and control systems, and networks
  • Prior integration and test experience

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to work station. Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
