I2X Technologies is seeking a System Verification Test Analyst to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs. This position will be on-site and will require an active Top Secret Clearance. 

  • This position will participate in software design and peer reviews
  • Develop test specifications and infrastructure/software architectures under test
  • Provide insight into manual and automated test and perform analysis of program implementation in an integrated environment or to test specific capabilities for interfaces or infrastructure in support of operations (e.g., Internal Messaging, control and monitoring, message and display recording and playback, failover processing)
  • Present analysis results and plans of action orally and/or in written format (e.g., slides, annotated slides, test report document). 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree
  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • Security+ Certification; IAT LVL II required
  • Experience with an Agile development process
  • Automated testing for requirement verification and performance assessment
  • Requirement and verification analysis
  • Conducting post-processing and analysis of collected data
  • Development of action plans based upon analysis of data
  • Documenting software deficiency reports
  • Understanding of Interface Control Documents and experience verifying interfaces are built correctly
  • The candidate must possess strong verbal/written communications skills enabling him/her to work effectively in a small technical team environment, and to accurately represent test perspectives to program systems engineers and architects, software designers, other testers and test support personnel, the Government customer, and personnel in other programs
  • Possess experience in testing and evaluation of a software-intensive system in a variety of test environments/venues, utilizing Agile development
  • Use of DoD test methodologies
  • Functional capability related test/analysis planning and execution
  • Planning and execution of test data collection
  • Test data analysis and reporting
  • The analysis experience should involve characterizing system, software, or component performance using quantitative methods

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to work station. Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
