Our programs support multiple Federal agencies, including the Department of Defense. We are seeking a Knowledge Analyst / Records Manager to support our customer’s operations in Las Vegas, NV. The effort performs evaluations of training considered critical to ensuring that deploying units are prepared to operate in complex environments. This position will be on-site and will require an active Top Secret/SCI Clearance. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain, and preserve the organization’s official record management program;
  • Identify and maintain essential records which provide for a continuous set of records reflecting the organization’s functions, policies, procedures, operations, and other actions of the Command having historical, legal, research, or public interest value; and
  • Assists and works closely with software developers, information managers, data managers, and knowledge managers as part of the knowledge management team to ensure that the entire knowledge management program is successful, and policies are adhered to.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • US Citizenship.
  • Active TS/SCI.

Required Experience:

  • Creating and maintaining a records management (RM) program to include retaining records, in any medium, until they are eligible for destruction per Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff Manual (CJCSM) 5760.01A, Volume (Vol.) II, Disposition Schedule;
  • Managing a RM program at multiple classifications levels including developing policies, ensuring procedures are executed per federal statutes and regulations, and providing assistance and guidance for all aspects of RM;
  • Ensuring organizational records are protected from mutilation, alienation, or unauthorized disposition (i.e., destruction), in all media formats; and
  • At least five (5) years of demonstrated relevant experience.

Education and Certifications:

  • High School Diploma.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand, and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to workstation. Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and the public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
