We are seeking an Information Security Analyst to support our customer at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico. This essential position will provide services for Information Technology, including Web/Software Development, Information Assurance/Information Security, IT Customer Service Desk Support, System Administration, and Network Administration. These services are to support management and operations at various organizational levels at the Department of Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office- Field Support Unit (DAF RCO-FSU), Kirtland AFB. This position will be on-site and will require an active Top Secret Clearance. 

Information Security Analyst Primary Duties: 

• Perform IA tasks as an privileged local administrator for client workstation(s)
• Maintain a IAW DoD 8570.01-M. IA Workforce Improvement Program certification; other relevant certifications include DoD 8570.01-M, DoD 857.1, and DoD 8140
• Demonstrate confidentiality, integrity, and availability, to include conducting recovery strategies, security audits, and other Information Assurance (IA) defensive strategies
• Install, configure, and maintain a Network management/Information Protection suite of hardware and software to protect information resources from internal and external threats
• Inform the Government of all IT-based security issues
• Detect, analyze, and correct vulnerabilities IAW network security policies
• Manage and/or assist the government IA team with the following: audit reviews and reporting, user account management for both internal networks and KAFB networks, and media control and transfer requests

Information Security Analyst Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer and information technology or a related field, such as engineering or math
• 5-7 years’ experience with IA and Network management/Information Protection support

Essential Requirements:

• US Citizenship
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance 
• CompTIA Security+ certification
